THIS DAY IN SLAVERY

1865 - Chattel Slavery in the United States was abolished when the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution was adopted. (Although Wage & Debt Slavery are still with us.)

But you’d never know it what with the Corporate Media’s morbid fascination with the three highly-likely-dead dumbass Mt. Hood alpinists.

Do you think they’d have the same wall-to-wall coverage for a “three dumbass Black guys on a mountain” story…?

You can’t even get Corporate Media to cover Darfur--a story worthy of coverage 24/7--or what’s really happening in Iraq & Afghanistan.

Heavens forefend the addle-brained little over-consuming Americorn imbeciles are ever exposed to anything unpleasant.
